The suffragettes movement was possibly funded to get women into work so the wealthy could tax the other half of the population. But they suffered all the same to give women a voice. The battle was long fought and it took even longer to implement women’s rights fully. With a special mention of Emily Wilding Davison, we ask you to use that voice.

They fought against extremist ideologies. To make sure we had the rights and choices we have today. From the people who were left behind, to the men who faced death in the trenches, in the skies or on the oceans.. Their sacrifice must be honoured and at the going down of the sun, we will remember them.

Martin Luther King, William Wallace, Nelson Mandela, George Washington ……… The list goes on. The fight against oppression and injustice has always been a real one the world over & throughout history. There are times and reasons that at some point we all feel a need to stand. Don’t wait until injustice or even incompetence hits you. By then it is simply too late.
